Gin and Tonic

Gin and Tonic

At This and That Kitchen, we love the Gin and Tonic because it’s a crowd-pleasing favorite that is simple to make (with only 3 ingredients!), endlessly refreshing, and hits all the right notes! The floral, evergreen notes of the London dry gin are balanced perfectly by the refreshingly bitter tonic water and the bright acidity from the fresh-squeezed lime juice. Whether you’re making them in quantity for your summer barbecue or just enjoying a thirst-quenching drink at the end of a long day at work, it’s tough to top a good Gin and Tonic!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz London dry gin
  • 3-4 oz tonic water (We used Q Tonic!)
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • Lime twist (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a highball, old-fashioned, or wine glass with ice.

  2. Add lime juice, gin, and tonic water. Tip: To make your life much easier, consider using a citrus press!

  3. Stir briefly to combine, and garnish with a lime twist.

  4. Enjoy!
