Our Story

Welcome to our This & That Kitchen! We have been cooking together since college, and from the very beginning, it was clear that we both LOVED food but had very different approaches to cooking. Nathan is very precise and likes to follow recipes closely while I prefer to view recipes as loose guidelines that I can play around with. If only we had a dollar for every time Nathan has asked me what ingredients I've just added to a dish and my response was "oh, just a little of this and a little of that!" - It drives him crazy! And thus, our This & That Kitchen was born!

A few years back, we made what - at the time - seemed like a crazy move to transition to a fully plant-based diet to improve our health. Within a month, we both felt amazing, and we have never looked back! All of our recipes collected here are completely plant-based and are suitable for carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans alike! We encourage everyone to try them, even if that means substituting just a few meals a week with plant-based meals. 

Putting together this collection has been a dream of ours for a long time, and we are so excited that you have joined us here! Neither of us are even close to trained chefs, so we can guarantee that all of our recipes are achievable regardless of your experience level in the kitchen.
